BODYARMOR is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to join our team.
The Supplier Quality Manager will provide a range of quality, food safety, regulatory and technical leadership experience in the beverage and/or food industry to support BODYARMOR's Supplier Quality onboarding function. This position requires expertise in auditing of new suppliers, microbiological risk assessments, regulatory compliance of ingredients/packaging material and investigation of non-conformances to drive corrective actions. This position will report to the Senior Regulatory Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage technical relationship between BODYARMOR and our suppliers
Onboard new ingredient and packaging material suppliers
Review and approve new ingredient and packaging materials
Conduct Quality and Food Safety audits and assessments of suppliers
Perform microbiological risk assessments on ingredients
Assess regulatory compliance of ingredients and packaging materials for countries of sale of finished product including US, Mexico, and Canada
Manages and keep up to date supplier and material documentation
Investigate non-conformances and drive effective CAPAs
Monitor and drive improvements on supplier performance
Develop and manage supplier related metrics and internal and external reporting
Support the continued development of Quality and Food Safety standards and guidance documents
Work closely with Sourcing, NPD, and cross functional teams to drive compliance to standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in food science or relevant science discipline required
5 years' experience in Quality and Food Safety in the food or beverage industry required
Working knowledge of FDA CFR Title 21 regulations required
HACCP and/ or PCQI certification required
Working knowledge of GFSI schemes required
Auditing experience required
Knowledgeable in microbiological methods and results interpretation desired
Food Defense and Food Fraud knowledge desired
Experience in packaging (PET), and hot and cold fill manufacturing
Team player with strong attention to detail and self-starter required
20% Travel required by plane or car

Pay Range:
$120,000 - $149,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
