The Supplier Audit team is looking for an auditor who is energetic and motivated to lead and conduct Quality System and Product/Process audits.
Lead and participate in quality system and/or product/process audits.
Knowledge of special processes, manufacturing software, engineering, purchasing, programs, contracts, process cert, FAI, non-conforming material
Expertise in the area of manufacturing software
Create and assist in the maintenance of audit process standard work
Collect and analyze process data, transform into meaningful information shared with senior management as required
Assist in the development of the annual audit schedule
Maintain audit records and manage/track/follow-up on associated Corrective Action.
Interact and communicate with various groups and various levels of P&W management
Participate in process improvement initiatives
Candidate is expected to demonstrate a high level of customer focus, business judgment, adaptability, teaming skills and communication skills.
BA/BS in Engineering or related technical discipline w/5-10 years of experience, or equivalent.
Candidate must have minimum of 3-5 years audit experience in the Aerospace Industry and have a good understanding of AS9100.
Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in various communication applications including MS Office, plus applied knowledge and daily use of ACE principles, especially RRCA/DIVE/8D.
Detailed knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and requirements is necessary, as well as ability to read and comprehend various work instructions, quality manuals and other detailed instructions.
50-75% domestic/international travel is required
