As the Supplier Quality Manager, you'll have the opportunity to:

Develop and lead global supplier quality and continuous improvement initiatives as a part of a fast-paced, global sourcing team.


  • Lead global Supplier Quality Engineering group (U.S., Mexico, and Asia based)

  • Develop and document supplier quality programs: control and processing of nonconforming material, supplier metrics, corrective actions, service levels, product safety and environmental stewardship and supplier improvement goals

  • Become a key partner on New Product Development team projects by providing insight to supplier capability, capacity, and lead time

  • Proactively work with Global Sourcing and other organizations to identify and implement improvements within supply base new supplier/product development, new supply chains, existing supplier quality enhancements, continuous improvement, etc.

  • Work with Corporate and Plant Quality teams to perform root cause investigation and remediation of customer quality complaints.

  • Manage supply base conformance to Fortune Brands Home & Security Global Citizenship and Social Responsibility policies and processes

  • Maintain and enhance supplier quality database to track suppliers: process capability, certification levels, critical part characteristics, and additional requirements not specified by the drawing.

  • Manage APQP and ISIR/PPAP process for supplied material

  • Communicate and uphold quality expectations from suppliers participate in dispute negotiations.

  • Travel approximately 20-30%, including internationally

  • May perform other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or Business required industrial, chemical, or mechanical engineering degree a plus

  • 5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing, quality, or supplier quality role. Experience managing team members strongly desired.

  • Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, analytical, strategic planning, and problem solving skills

  • Must be certified as Six Sigma Green belt; Black belt desired

  • Able to thrive in a rapidly changing business environment

  • Prior experience working with global supply base (Asia, S. America, N. America) a plus

  • Experience in ISO, QS, TS 16949 quality systems desired

For more information about Paramount, please visit our website The Paramount Quality Assurance Associate will coordinate and perform onsite compliance and UM/CM quality assurance reviews, informal reviews, desk reviews, data analysis, and report processes to agencies; CMS, ODM, NCQA, etc. Communicate with agencies regarding deadlines, services, audit results, reviews, or clarification and follow-up of submissions under review. Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents. Perform UM/CM audits for delegated entities. Prepare or direct the preparation of additional information or responses as requested by agencies. This position reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer. No positions report to this position. 1. Assist with creating Utilization Care Management responsibilities as related to new product development and implementation of new and/or upgraded software/applications as relates to UM/CM functions. 2. Conduct internal and external monitoring and auditing of delegation oversight related to quality and compliance standards for contracted entities; provide feedback and response to oversight findings. 3. Develop abstract, and maintain Utilization Care Management workflow needs within the authorization and case management systems. Departmental liaison for all Utilization Care Management systems. 4. Produce results that are presented accurately, timely, and professional. Assist with systems outcomes and develop/implement action plans to improve results. 5. Coordinate, facilitate, design and workflows and system work arounds to internal departments, for all ODM, CMS, and NCQA standards other Utilization Care Management regulatory requirements. Assist in any follow up related to Utilization Care Management departmental data outcomes. 6. Assist and monitor regulatory requirements for audits and participates in continuous performance improvement measures to ensure departmental compliance. 7. Compile and maintain agency documentation databases or systems. 8. Obtain and distribute updated information regarding audits. 9. Perform compliance and quality assurance reviews for new hires. 10. Provide the CMO, Directors of UCM, Managers, and Team Leaders with timely detailed monthly reports that outline departmental and individual statistical results and provide recommendations based on findings. 11.
