Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop assigned suppliers in the areas of Quality, Delivery, Service, and Total Cost.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities

• Performs Supplier Quality Systems Surveys and supplier process reviews.

• Leads component part design review meetings.

• Works with NAL Buyers to gather information and make decisions regarding product sourcing.

• Reviews and approves ISIR submissions.

• Performs Supplier process reviews.

• Performs technical and statistical investigations and analysis on supplier-related quality issues using standard NAL problem solving method.

Requirements

Your Background

Bachelor's Degree, plus 3 to 5 years of experience-including 2 to 4 years of related manufacturing experience.

5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Customer Relations within automotive supplier manufacturing, and experience in a JIT manufacturing environment are preferred.
