Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement
• Ensure suppliers maintain all regulations and requirements
• Perform quality system audits for supplier introduction and supplier continuous improvement
• Visit vendor facilities to ensure they uphold quality standards
• Track and manage actions plans to resolve quality issues
• Support Purchasing in selecting the best vendors
• Promote initiatives to improve quality
• Train new employees and vendors on quality assurance procedures and protocols
• Lead other employees involved in assessing supplier quality standards

Requirements

• BSc in Industrial Engineering or relevant field
• Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role, at least 5 years of experience
• Mechanical and electrical skills, acquired in an industrial environment
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
