Supplier Performance Specialist

Ontic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world's aviation leaders. Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.

Our team is looking for a Supplier Performance Manager to join them. You will report to the Supply Chain Director and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, Ca.

To be considered for the Supplier Performance Specialist opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

• Proven experience in supplier performance management within the aerospace industry.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of aerospace supply chain processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

• Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems for data analysis and reporting.

As a Supplier Performance Specialist, you will:

• Establish and maintain a robust system for monitoring supplier performance against key metrics, including quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to identify areas of improvement and adherence to contractual obligations.

• Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement.

• Generate comprehensive reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and proposing corrective actions as needed.

• Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement improvement plans to address performance gaps and enhance overall efficiency.

• Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for performance-related matters.

Salary Range:

$100,000-$130,000/year, based on experience

Compensation Pay Range

$100-$130k
