Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
In this role, you will work with GDC teams to develop and administer supplier management strategies for our design, construction, and services; maintain a global supplier management database; develop training materials; conduct training; maintain strong vendor relationships; and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio.
As a Supplier Performance Manager on the Program Controls Organization (PCO) team, you will develop the data center supplier management strategy to support Google's cutting edge technology and business needs. You will also develop and execute Google's program that focuses on supplier development through a set of engagement tools and processes including supplier qualification, scorecards, business reviews, and audits in support of our data center construction. Additionally, you will lead and participate on projects, understanding and resolving complex issues and mitigating risks. In this role, you will manage internal stakeholder relationships from Engineering, and regional Construction and Supplier Sourcing teams while developing and maintaining effective external relationships. Finally, you will comfortably explain your team's analysis and recommendations to executives and discuss processes and trade-offs with engineers.
Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible.
