The Space Systems Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Supplier Manager/Material Control Analyst to work in our Decatur, Al. office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Universal Stage Adapter team to accomplish their mission.

Primary Responsibilities

Candidate selected for this position will work in an office/lab environment accountable for submitting quote request (RFQs) for the Space Division working in both a production and prototype environment. Candidate will be tasked with duties to include but are not limited to, collaborating with Quality assurance, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, and inventory control. Submitting requests and tracking procurement status; production planning with quality control standards (FAR, AS9100); and conveying with various entities to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate will have at least a High School diploma with at least two (2) years of relevant work history.

• Ability to effectively speak in a team environment.

• Demonstrate strong personal organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal oversite.

• Computer skills including knowledge with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

• Prior working history with Deltek Costpoint software (for material planning, receiving, MO's, etc.)

• History reviewing BOMs and sort items that are build versus buy.

• Manufacturing orders and issue/relieve material.

• Work with engineering, purchasing, and vendors to request and submit RFQs.

• Submit req request, track procurements, and work with shipping and receiving to ensure deliveries are received and accepted on time.

• work with vendors and purchasing to have prospective vendors added to the approved supplier list and Ivalua procurement systems.

• Bachelors Degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP software experience

• MES/Solumina experience

• Resolve problems related to production jobs such as configuration changes, engineering changes, material issues, schedule priority, etc.

• Familiar with limited shelf materials and the ability maintain inventory due to expiration and lead times.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $49,400.00 - $89,300.00
