The Supplier Data Analyst is responsible for managing supplier data including new supplier requests, existing supplier maintenance, and risk monitoring.
Key responsibilities include operating the supplier onboarding process, monitoring vendor risk and qualification, and collaborating on new procurement tools.
Interact with suppliers and Irvine Company employees, Risk Management, and Legal on supplier onboarding, master data, or insurance related requests in compliance with company policy
Actively maintain the supplier master data including contact, tax, banking, and payment related information
Actively monitor and maintain supplier compliance with Irvine Company risk management requirements such as insurance and licenses
Analyze and process approved supplier onboarding applications and insurance monitoring requests
Execute supplier profile changes and modifications, including contact, tax, banking, and payment related information
Assist with the development and execution of a supplier categorization and rationalization program
Review new and existing supplier records to eliminate duplicate or defective records
Actively participate with Source-To-Pay and IT in the implementation of new procurement tools for supplier onboarding and risk monitoring
Support Internal Audit data analysis needs
Present reports and analysis, as needed
Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
2 years of supply management /procurement or related experience
A B.A. or B.S. degree in supply chain management, finance, accounting, economics, engineering or a related area
SAP, Business Warehouse, and modern procurement tool (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, etc.) experience preferred
Google Apps experience a plus.
