Responsibilities As an expert in the world of Port Operation Contract Management, you will thrive on managing sourcing, bids and contract negotiations. Reporting to the Head of Supplier and Contract Management for Ocean Operations, you will oversee our ocean supplier contracting process, including: Closely partnering with our Port Operations teams and Suppliers Building relationships with internal business operations Implementing standardized purchasing practices for supplier spend and contracting Negotiate and Procure supplier contracts Host visitors and meetings with our suppliers and port authority Analyze our port and cargo related spend Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL NEED A background in Maritime and Port Operations field Detailed knowledge of Sea Transport operations Thorough understanding of Maritime and Transportation Law Expert in ocean cost levers and RORO shipping Experience in contract management and negotiation EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE Analytical approach to problem solving Demonstrated ability to make decisions under pressure A curious, growth mindset Can you see yourself at Wallenius Wilhelmsen?
