This is an exciting time to work for Amarillo College! We are seeking our next part-time Supplemental Instructor for the Innovation Outpost who will be all-in on our mission and who will perform duties primarily related to the instruction of courses in assigned subject matter areas. These topics are based on Human Skills and augment the learning that occurs in courses through Upskill Amarillo.
EDUCATION:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred: Master's Degree
EXPERIENCE
Required: Previous training experience with group facilitation.
Preferred: Previous training and facilitation experience related to Human Skills such as Growth Mindset, Emotional Intelligence, Effective Communication, and other workforce skills.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time, and be able to move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Salary:Amarillo College Staff Salary Schedule grade 10 (salary is determined by Human Resources based on education, work experience and internal comparisons).
Working Conditions: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays, and varying events if necessary.)
Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment (i.e. computers, phones, copy and fax machines, filing cabinets) and is in a high traffic area with continual interruptions. Software commonly used includes Microsoft Office, Colleague, and various other educational applications. Work may also be performed outside of the office and with little to no supervision.
