Description
Qualifications:
A grade of B+ or above in the selected course
Recommendation by selected course instructor
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation:
Primary responsibilities:
Attend class meetings of assigned course, take notes and review content.
Hold approximately 150 minutes of scheduled Supplemental Instruction per week.
Communicate with students, instructor and SI supervisor.
Attend trainings and logistical meetings as called and necessary.
Behave in a professional, friendly and inclusive manner.
Other duties as assigned
Required:

Work with students in course and SI Supervisor to schedule appropriate SI sessions.
Notify Instructor and SI Supervisor and students in advance if you cannot conduct sessions as scheduled.
Log attendance and session reports using the Penji tutoring app (training provided).
Promote Supplemental Instruction and other academic support (e.g. Math and Writing Centers).
