Serves as manager of a Quality Assurance Group within a Contract Management Office (CMO).
Plans the accomplishment of QA Group functions within the resources provided by and the policies and regulations established at higher levels.
Conducts personnel management that include initiating training, reassignment, promotion, transfer, commendation, and disciplining of subordinates.
Directs changes in QA Group procedures to meet new demands and to effect more efficient operations.
Assures that Division HQ Level technical assistance is provided as needed and that technical guidance is applied.
Advises CMO Director on quality assurance matters; discusses new developments and possible changes in operations.

Managing acquisition programs covered by multiple acquisition disciplines. Directing activities of professional and technical employees responsible for oversight and implementation of quality assurance functions. Evaluating overall effectiveness of contractors' quality assurance programs. Interpreting and implementing acquisition policies and guidance affecting Quality Assurance activities. Providing resolution for technically complex quality assurance issues.
