You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYSIS OFFICER of NCIS.
All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
You will direct activities within the Department that enables the execution of NCIS? strategic mission. Activities include: Personnel Security Program, Information Security Program, Physical Security Program, Special Access Program.
You will participate in the planning, programming, and budget process for NCIS operations.
You will perform and/or oversee special analytical and fact-gathering projects for the analysis and assessment of NCIS activities and for documenting NCIS position.
You will facilitate development of polices and training; and the identify and procurement of emerging technologies that increase efficiency.
You will supervise a subordinate staff of managers (GS-14s) and their workforce staff of GS-7 to GS-13.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
