Serves as the Chief of the Manpower, Management and Equipment Division in the Directorate of Resource Management
Plans, coordinates and Implements the manpower control program.
Conducts manpower surveys and studies.
Appraises the effectiveness of operations.
Provides advisor services to military and civilian management personnel concerning manpower requirements, authorizations and utilization.
Develops new management programs.
Prepares reports and briefings for local and higher manpower headquarters concerning these resources.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

To qualify, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level, GG/GS-12. Specialized experience is defined as experience managing the manpower control program that may include TDA requirements, authorizations, manning and on-hand for personnel and equipment, conducting optimization studies of mission, functions or organization levels and their effect on structure, organizations, staffing and/or equipment requirements; and experience detecting deficiencies such as overlapping functions and duplication of effort.
