Duties
As a Supervisory Legal Administrative Specialist, you will:
Serve as a technical authority tasked with improving the methods, procedures and effectiveness of current Judgment Fund payment operations as well as the creation and implementation of new programs and systems.
Define, direct, or serve on special projects or studies in order to obtain greater work efficiency and assess implications on overall program objectives and operations on the Bureau.
Plan, organize, and oversee the activities of the Claims Payment staff, ensuring that payment processes and practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
Serve on committees and task teams concerning all aspects of Judgment Fund payment operations performed by the office.
Perform first level supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

A one-year probationary period may be required.
A one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
Must successfully complete a background investigation. Periodic reinvestigation is required no later than five years after selection and at least every succeeding five years.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
