As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist, GS-2210-15, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Serves as the Manager of the Communications and Information Systems Program.
Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on multiple IT contracts.
Responsible for a full range of IT activities to include the development, implementation and full life-cycle support of records management and hosting IT platforms to include open source (confluence).
Ensures best practices of the industry are continually reviewed, modified, and maintained.
Manage information systems, telecommunications, and other automated communications programs to include the coordination and partnering with multiple agencies, private sector officials, contracting, and international parties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must meet the qualification requirements outlined below to be considered minimally qualified for this position. The qualification requirements are in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standards. ALL QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE MET BY THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the next lower grade or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector.
You may qualify at the GS-15 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience is defined as having an expert skill level of Information Technology (IT) operations and management principles, methods, standards and practices to develop and advise on higher level IT policies and procedures. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) IT Records Management; 2) IT Lifecycle Management; 3) Management of collaboration platforms (SharePoint and Confluence); and 4) Contracting Officer Representative (COR) experience.
In addition to the specialized experience individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
