As a Supervisory HR Specialist at the GS-0201-15, you will be part of Employee Services, Senior Executive Service (SES) and Performance Management Office, in the Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be operating in a fast-paced environment, and will be responsible for providing Governmentwide policy direction guidance, and technical assistance for selecting, developing, and managing Federal executives in the SES and other executive personnel systems.

Collaborating within Senior Executive Services and Performance Management to provide responses to legislative initiatives related to the government's executive personnel systems.
Preparing and issuing publications related to the SES to include the Plum Book and Federal Register Notices.
Reviewing and processing requests for noncareer appointment authorities and agency selections of political appointees for SES career appointments.
Reviewing limited term and limited emergency appointment requests.
Ensuring timely review of agency SES career appointment selections and administers Qualifications Review Board to certify candidate executive qualifications.
Supporting a comprehensive personnel data system.
Providing data to the White House, Congress, Federal agencies, oversight bodies, researchers, and other stakeholders; prepares reports, studies, and analyses.
Developing collaborative relationships with SES program stakeholders such as professional associations, service groups, and international organizations.
Developing and conducting training for internal and external customers.
Serving as liaison with the OPM Director's Office, White House, Federal agencies and Review Boards.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

Applicants must have at least one full year of experience performed at the GS-14 grade level (or equivalent) in the Federal Government managing and directing the development, implementation, and operation of a Senior Executive Service program in an Agency; and leading, planning, coordinating and managing successful completion of a variety of projects and work assignments in support of executive programs and operations.
Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS15 level.
You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
