Supervisor,Med Imaging Nursing

POSITION SUMMARY Plans, organizes and manages the delivery of nursing care in Medical Imaging, and associated operations and personnel for the department under the general direction of the Administrative Director. Routinely provides nursing care to patients undergoing interventional procedures while in Medical Imaging. May provide pre- and post-procedural care, as qualified. Provides patient care in accordance with prescribed, delegated medical regimen and hospital policies. EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Registered Nurse with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Demonstrated leadership, organizational and communication skills. BCLS certification; recertification required annually. Preferred: Above plus Baccalaureate Degree and ACLS certification. Management education, training and experience.
