SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision of the Director of Recovery and Support, the primary responsibilities for this position are to: (1) Lead and supervise Operations Analysts and Admin Support to achieve operation goals; (2) Train staff to perform job responsibilities accurately, timely, in compliance with state and client requirement and exceeding client expectations (3) Communicate (both written and verbal) with client, management and other company constituents to meet client needs and achieve department and company goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversee and manage day-to-day activities of Operations Analysts and Admin Support
Ensure timely and accurate completion of projects to meet all deadlines; assist direct reports as needed
Establish communication and rapport with Equian staff
Meet client production and quality expectations
Act as resource for Support teams and other Equian staff
Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
Become proficient in multiple client systems/applications
Suggest improvements in workflow/processes
Implement process improvements with the approval of management
Coordinate/complete client audits accurately and timely
Assist in diagnosing and analyzing system/process issues and deficits
Other duties and responsibilities may include:
Train staff members as needed
Assess staffing needs
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES: Direct supervisory responsibilities. Manage performance and attendance of Operations Analysts and Admin Support.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
2 3 years experience with health benefits and/or medical claims
Audit and recovery and/or claims processing experience strongly preferred
Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
High School diploma required; College graduate preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to work independently and achieve individual goals while managing others
Ability to manage/supervise others while maintaining a professional relationship with team members
Ability to learn and adapt to various client systems
Ability to keep protected healthcare information confidential
Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Proven ability to work under high production and quality standards
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
