Profit Maximization

  • Review results utilizing reporting including Scorecard

  • Adjust daily schedule based on business needs

  • Ensure adherence to Loss Prevention policies

  • Reduce risk and protect assets in compliance with the Operational Audit

  • Lead, coach, and participate in execution of special event playbooks

  • Maintain security of physical building, sensitive data, and IT equipment to policy

  • Ensure compliance to Injury Illness Prevention Program; recognize and resolve safety hazards

  • Execution of Physical Inventory Standard Operating Procedure

Talent Optimization

Operational Execution

  • Complete and verify deposits, change orders and cash pick ups

  • Complete point of sale opening and closing procedures

  • Approve point of sale returns, voids, and overrides

  • Take appropriate action during business interruptions and emergencies

  • Ensure Merchandise Management expectations are consistently met

  • Complete forklift certification and operate as needed

  • Completion of inventory adjustments

  • Complete and maintain callbacks and pullbacks

  • Process defects, destroy, special handling returns, managed waste and open box in adherence to policies

Experience

  • One year experience in retail leadership preferred

Education

  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational degree or High School graduate/Equivalent or 2 years Management or Functional Experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with customers and associates in person and via e-mail and telephone.

  • Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds.

  • Requires standing and moving for an entire shift.

  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist.

  • Ability to safely climb up and down a ladder.

  • Ability to become forklift certified and physically able to operate a forklift in accordance with IIPP.

Availability

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, overnights and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

VIEW JOBS 1/3/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-03T00:00 JOB SUMMARY The SpectrumDirect Sales Supervisor will support and assist the Spectrum Direct Sales Manager by managing the day to day activities of the Spectrum Direct Sales Department. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience * Responsible for meeting and exceeding budgeted sales goals * Supervise a team of Direct Sales staff and service partner personnel. Direct reports may include Sales Representatives as well as service partners. May also manage other sales resources as assigned * Recruit, interview, hire and train Direct Sales staff * Support of Direct Sales staff will consist of approximately 70% field work and 30% office work * Communicate territory assignments to residential sales representatives * Monitor the payroll process and ensure timely and accurate approval of all commissions payment * Handle employee relation issues, including performance appraisals, coaching, safety training, etc. * Assist with budget preparation and provide input on marketing issues and sales offers * Perform other duties as requested by supervisor REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge * Ability to read, write, speak and understand English * Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle * Ability to work outside for extended periods in any season and/or during inclement weather * Familiarity with computer operating systems, a myriad of consumer and commercial communications devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, converters, and wireless devices), and computer software applications * Ability to complete documentation accurately Education * Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, or equivalent experience preferred Related Work Experience * Minimum of 1 year experience in outside sales Certifications and/or Licenses * Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record within Company required standards and auto insurance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge * Knowledge of Direct Sales practices * Experience with consumer education of products and services * Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services * Vision ability close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus * Related Work Experience * Sales Supervisory experience preferred, .5+ years WORKING CONDITIONS * Field and Office environment * Outside field environment with exposure to inclement weather * Travel as required * Must be able to work evenings and weekends * Occasionally required to work overtime as the business needs dictate The Spectrum brands (including Spectrum Networks, Spectrum Enterprise and Spectrum Reach) are powered and innovated by Charter Communications.
