Job Description:

Administration of oxygen, therapeutic gas, and respiratory medications to patients in accordance with physician orders. Develops, implements, and controls the provision of therapeutic patient care services.

Plans and coordinates the daily work activities of respiratory therapists in accordance with hospital policies and the directives of medical staff. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Associate's degree, 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

What You Will Do Provide direct behavioral health patient care. Assist patients with performing activities of daily living. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred. Certified Nurse Aide preferred. Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
