Job Summary Responsible for the supervision of the daily operations of the Receiving Area. # Responsibilities # Supervises the Receiving Attendants in their daily functions and ensures that all deliveries are made in a timely manner Accept and verify shipments of supplies/materials as needed Deliver received items to departments/areas as needed Responsible for routing receiving documents to the appropriate destinations Handles all Receiving Attendant training, to include follow up meetings with Receiving Manager and Director to provide progress updates Identifies areas of improvement and leads process improvement projects in the Receiving department Lead all new training initiatives including, but not limited to, moving manual process to automated alternatives Monitor handheld delivery process and coordinate with IT to address any known or discovered issues with deliveries or handheld performance Act as a backup to Receiving Manager and perform all necessary duties during their absence Assist Receiving Manager in creating delivery metrics and performance goals for Receiving Attendants Provide regular updates to Receiving Manager and Director regarding delivery metrics and performance goals # Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience 2-3 years of experience in a progressive Supervisory/Management role is preferred. 3-5 years of Healthcare or Receiving experience preferred Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Must have valid state of Alabama driver#s license.

Experience
2-3 years of experience in a progressive Supervisory/Management role is preferred.
