Taylor Communications is seeking 3rd shift Production Supervisor for the Hutchins Texas. The qualified candidate will monitor and adhere to the production schedule. Focus to be on safety, efficiency, low-cost production, and the production of quality product that meets or exceeds our customer expectations in a timely manner.

Shift Available

  • 11 pm to 7:00 am (Sunday night-Friday morning)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures

  • Supervise and develop production personnel to achieve high standards relative to productivity, efficiency, low-cost production, and quality

  • Adhere to the production schedule by completing jobs on or before the scheduled due date

  • Ensure that all orders are produced according to customer expectations

  • Implement good team-building processes to maintain good morale, communication, and constancy of company agendas

  • Train new and current employees on departmental procedures and practices and equipment operation

  • Complete all production and quality reports

  • Ensure the sign off approvals on all product produced meet the production needs

  • Provide frequent updates to the Production Manager regarding issues and problems in the department as well as provide ideas for a potential solution

  • Assist in the ISO Quality Management System and audits

  • Conduct visual checks of machinery and escalate any problems to leadership and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment

  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude

  • Basic computer and math skills

  • Ability to lift and or move 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or manufacturing relevant education

  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability and willingness to hold self and direct reports accountable for meeting performance expectations

  • Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees

Pay Detailers are paid production pay with an average hourly rate of $16.50. There isn't a guarantee on average production pay because it is based on volume of work completed. However, average Hourly rate typically ranges between $14.00 and $20.00 per hour. Job Description/Responsibilities include * Preparing vehicles for auction by performing a variety of vehicle reconditioning tasks per company procedures & customer service level agreements: interior detailing, upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, pre-wash, buffer, and quality control. * Inspect the quality of work performed prior to moving vehicle to next stage of reconditioning process * Maintain good operating condition of equipment and facilities, advising management of equipment breakdowns or maintenance needs * Practice and promote teamwork within the department * Work within established company safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safety and security for employees and property * Follow safe working procedures and reporting procedures for injuries, loss or damage of property Other duties as assigned Experience & Education requirements * High School education or equivalent preferred * 1-3 years' experience in automotive detailing is an asset * Valid driver's license and ability to drive both standard and automatic transmissions * High attention to detail required * Hardworking, motivated team player * Responsible for the quality and quantity of work produced * Reliable, punctual, and dependable * Available to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends and overtime, as required Benefits * Benefits for Full-Time Employees become effective on the first of the month following 30 days of Employment. * 3 Medical Plan Options with Health Savings Account.
