Supervisor, Production

We heard you knock!

You will direct the activities of other Production Supervisors while work closely with the Production Manager of your assigned department to oversee the production activities and assist them in meeting the operating plan goals and objectives, as well as provide information and training to comply with all EHS rules and regulations. In this role, you will perform various problem-solving analyses in the areas of cost and manpower utilization. You will work closely with the assigned Maintenance Supervisor to ensure equipment reliability to produce acceptable quantity and quality of product and you will be responsible for eliminating downtime where possible while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities:

• This position will have 20 + direct report and 50+ total reports under their supervisory organization.

• Meet budget requirements by developing and implementing cost reduction projects for operational improvements and efficiency cost control.

• Take part of Lean Six Sigma training and Supervisor skills coaching

• Supervises and establishes priorities and schedule personnel for Interior/Primary production

• Responds to breakdowns by determining problem and effect immediate repair

• Supports a corporate culture that focuses on facts, tangible results and behaviors

• Maintains production staff by participating in recruiting, selecting, orientating and training employees; maintains a safe and secure work environment; develops personal growth opportunities

• Accomplishes staff results by communicating job goals and expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required. College degree preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of production/supervisory experience

• Previous experience directing skilled production personnel
