Overview

Do you want to join a high performing team, driving incremental growth? Our Endpoint Solutions team is expanding and we are looking for someone to supervise the day-to-day activities of a team of solutions reps and product managers, coach and developteam members, serves as an escalation point for the team in resolving complex matters. The Supervisor will also work with management in formulating and implementing strategies that will deliver assigned financial results, is responsible for employee performance management (setting goals, observing and giving feedback, addressing performance issues, firing employees, etc.) and ensuring conformance to personnel policies and other internal regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

  • Serves as a working member of the team they lead as necessary.

  • Ensures staff members work efficiently as a team and continuously improve the quality of their work, providing service levels that meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Assists manager in the development of overall goals and strategies for assigned programs and/or activities.

  • Prepare and analyze data/reports to insure team is on track to meet monthly /quarterly goals.

  • Maintains open communications with other Tech Data management and departments regarding opportunities and issues.

  • Deliver presentations to Business Partner and Tech Data management and executive level individuals.

  • Leads team to create unsolicited proposals that will generate incremental marketing investments and sales of assigned product lines.

  • Tracks and understands funding, budgets, accruals and other financial aspects of programs and/or activities.

  • Monitors program activities and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion.

  • Tracks marketing inventory and business partner slotting.

  • Plans, organizes, assigns, oversees and evaluates the work of team members to ensure the attainment of the goals and the adherence to the company shared values.

  • Trains, develops, coaches, recognizes, awards and interacts with staff to achieve high individual and team performance and engagement levels, job satisfaction and retention, and support professional growth within the organization.

  • Owns personnel processes and decisions. Works in collaboration with division management and HR regarding: hiring, separations, performance management, and career development solutions.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned

  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

Required Educational: High School/G.E.D.

Certifications: Inside and/or Outside Sales experience required Knowledge of Technology/Marketplace desired

Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience for internal candidates and 4-7 years of specific industry experience for external candidates.

Owns the relationship and profitability of assigned vendors. Works directly with Sales and Marketing Services in order to increase sales growth and attain profit goals for assigned product lines. Develops strategic business partnerships with key vendor partners. Responsible for the revenue and profit goals for assigned vendor partners. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required * Manages the day-to-day and strategic activities of a product marketing team that supports a specific technology, product lines or customer segment to ensure sales growth and attainment of profit goals. * Manages a diverse team focused on product marketing and sales with emphasis on business development/account development for assigned vendors. * Assists in formulating and implementing the product marketing strategy for product line groups.
