SUMMARY: Under direction, supervise payroll functions; provide leadership and guidance; train, coordinate, review and assist in the evaluation of staff; maintain a high level of customer service for the department.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate Arts Degree from an accredited college in business or related field is required. Four (4) years of payroll/benefits and/or accounting experience, including the supervision and training of others is required.
Experience in a related field beyond the four-year requirement may be substituted for the years of education experience on a two years' experience equals one year of education basis. Possession of a valid California driver's license and proof of insurance are required. Personal transportation for job-related travel. Twin Rivers Unified School District is the 27th largest school district in California by enrollment, according to the California Department of Education. We serve approximately 25,000 students who come from families that speak 46 languages.
