Primary purpose: Manage, implement, and support General Ledger and Accounts Receivable function as well as other projects while identifying opportunities to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies across the organization consistent with corporate strategies.
Minimum requirements:Education: BBA in Accounting or related business degree
Experience:Minimum 5 - 7 years of work experience in related field
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Lead team, manage Accounts Receivable (AR) module, and work with members from other departments to implement ERP (i.e. Lawson, Oracle, SAP) or system related projects by gathering business requirements, creating test scripts, testing, and managing change.Create departmental specifications, identify gaps/issues, develop solutions/processes/procedures, conduct training, and create documentation.Responsible for the development, administration, review and analysis of AR module, security, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls, and segregation of duties.Generate intermediate to advance queries (i.e.
Access, MS SQL) for research and to ensure data integrity.Create and maintain financial and management reports using intermediate or advance knowledge of Excel, Essbase or other reporting tools.Supervise the cash application process as well as perform cash applications, code, generate reports, handle audit requests, and process interfaces. Setup, administer, support, and conduct month end close procedures for Accounts Receivable.Provide General Ledger ("GL") setup, maintenance and support to various groups within organization.
