Job Summary Responsible for the daily coordination of operations, personnel supervision, and evaluation of the Pharmacy Department activities in accordance with stated philosophies, policies, goals, and objectives. The Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations must have the pharmaceutical expertise to practice Pediatric Pharmacy in the state of Alabama. The Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations must demonstrate leadership skill and an extraordinary commitment to children. Education Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy required. Experience Minimum of two years experience as an active practitioner of pharmacy in a hospital setting required. Pediatric pharmacy experience preferred. Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Current Pharmacy license issued by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy required. Current Controlled Substance Registration Certificate with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy required. Current Parenteral Pharmacist Certification with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy required within six months.
