This position's responsibilities include supervision of MNG#s gas

technicians; review of construction contractors invoices; preparation

of weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports filed with regulators (e.g.

weekly construction schedule; monthly Odorant Level, Leak, and Incident

Report; Quarterly Report of Leak and Odor Call Response Times; Annual

Report of Pipeline Miles and Dig Safe Responses); annual review of

operating procedures (Review and Update of O&M Procedures, Review of

Construction Standards, Review of Emergency Response Plan);

administration of annual maintenance requirements and surveys (leak

survey, cathodic protection survey, regulatory maintenance); and safety

demonstrations. Beyond these responsibilities this position is a

working supervisor whose duties also include those of a gas technician

as well: gas pipeline locates; meter reading; construction layouts;

construction inspection; main and service installation; meter

installation; meter disconnects; preparation of construction folders;

operation and maintenance of regulator stations; leak and valve surveys;

emergency response; and standby duty

  • Knowledge of the operations of metering and regulating stations,

odorant injection systems, pressure control, sizing, installing, and

maintaining large volume meter sets and regulators

  • Knowledge of the installation and operation of a natural gas

distribution system

  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office # Word, Excel

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision and meet


Required Education:

High School Degree.

Associate's Degree in

Engineering Technology, HVAC Technology or Other Related Field Preferred

Required Experience (Years): 10 years
