The classification of Supervisor Ramp Services includes managing, coordinating and controlling airport ramp functions (as described below); monitors the quantity and quality of work performance; directing personnel within assigned functional area; overseeing and advising on staffing requirements; participating in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates, ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations, union contracts (if applicable), Company standards and contractual agreements; ensures budgetary controls and manning requirements. This position may include responsibility for communication between individual customers and the Company.

Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards. Ensures they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect. The scope of the job may vary with the size of the operation and its primary line of business

Required Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions, and procedure manuals, and have ability to write routine reports and

correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole

numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and have ability to compute rate, percent and

interpret bar graphs.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Ability to lift 70 lbs

Work in a high noise level environment.

Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment, have the ability to handle

Stress, and work with minimal supervision.

Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.

Required Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.

Spanish Speaking is a Plus

We are currently seeking a Full time Education Supervisor, in a our Clinical and Educational Services department. The Education Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director of CES in overseeing the daily work functions of the educational staff within the Clinical and Educational Services Department at Belmont Behavioral Hospital. In this role the Education Super will: * Complete competency: observing classes and documenting observations of demonstrated skills. * Schedule observations; Communicate with therapists and educators to ensure willingness and appropriateness of observation schedule. * Complete all 30/60 day check-in's, 90 day evaluations, and annual evaluations. * Work to create training plans in supervision to meet NIAC requirements and professional development goals. * Overseeing development plans for educators; this could include increased observations, coordination with HR staff, additional meetings with the educator etc. * Provide services to children and adolescents from ages 5 to 21 years of age. * Receive information related to outages and make appropriate alterations to the schedule in consultation with Director and Assistant Director. * Provide education groups as needed, including coverage for teacher outages. * Review lesson plans for all educators on Monday and provide feedback prior to the class. * Assign educational consults. * Ensure completion of weekly Academic Summaries. * As needed, provide auditing of filing of teacher's documentation and provide necessary feedback and supervision to staff as it relates to documentation and accountability. * Act as a liaison with local school districts regarding educational background and services of individuals served by the hospital; this may include gathering information and school work, obtaining IEPs, etc. The ideal candidate will: * Minimum of a Master's Degree in Education with additional course work in psychology, human development, and/or public health degrees/programs required. * PA Special Education Certification required. Preference for additional Supervisor Certification. * Strong teaching skills with emphasis on students who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged required. * Experience or interest in principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis preferred. * Ability to train and oversee peers, Classroom Teachers and ABA Counselors.
