The classification of Supervisor Cargo Services includes managing, coordinating and controlling all aspects of a cargo operation overseeing all operational activities including the functions described below; monitors the quantity and quality of work performance; directing personnel within assigned functional area; overseeing and advising on staffing requirements; participating in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates, ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations, Company standards and contractual agreements; ensures budgetary controls and manning requirements. This position may include responsibility for communication between individual customers and the Company.

Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards. Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation. Ensure that the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times.

Read, understand and clarify the implementation of the site specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge. Ensures they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect. The scope of the job may vary with the size of the operation and its primary line of business.

Cargo Service Functions

Responsible for cargo warehousing, including receiving, dispatching and staging airfreight, air mail and other cargo at air freight docks and other cargo facilities; operating motorized vehicles as related to the operation; routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, equipment and facilities with or without powered equipment; and other duties and functions related to the foregoing.

Required Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole

numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, percent and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Work in a high noise level environment.

Work with minimal supervision.

Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.

Ability to handle stress.

Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds.

Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.

Required Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.

The focus of this position is Oncology Clinical Trials. At least 1 year of previous clinical research data entry experience is required. As a direct report to the Clinical Research Project Manager, this experienced Clinical Research Coordinator will assist the Cell Therapy Research Team with the demanding data requirements of our actively enrolling clinical research studies. This Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator assists with the following for multiple studies: ' Collects and interprets data necessary for enrollment; registers patients ' Monitors and evaluates protocol compliance ' Manages data collection via chart abstraction in EPIC and submits data in timely fashion ' Creates Research Charts and maintains to ensure audit readiness ' Creates Adverse Event Logs for Investigator review and sign-off ' Monitors and reports adverse events as required by institutional/federal regulations ' Resolves data discrepancies and queries as requested by Sponsors ' Requests and submits tissue samples as required by protocol ' Prepares submission of protocol revisions and safety reports to the IRB ' Prepares annual progress reports for IRB renewal of ongoing studies ' Participates in monitoring visits and makes data corrections as required by Monitor This is a 20-24 hour/week position. The majority of the hours will occur between 9am and 4pm, though the schedule within these hours may fluctuate.
