Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management. Assists with responsibility 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s) to meet the needs of the patient. Works closely with Nurse Manager to ensure continuity of care across the continuum. Minimal supervision required.
Meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas.
Coursework/Training - Training in Moderate Sedation, Dysrhythmia Recognition, Sterile Technique.
3 years Unit Specific or procedure experience.
5 years Critical Care Nursing experience.
Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Charge Nurse/leadership experience.
ACC-NCDR Registry experience.
GE Cardio Lab computerized documentation system experience.
Specialty certification related to unit (RCIS, RCES, CCRN) upon hire
ACLS or PALS upon hire
