Position Summary: AZEK is seeking a MRO Supervisor to report to the Maintenance & MRO Manager, and will lead the MRO efforts in our manufacturing and distribution facilities. The MRO Supervisor is responsible for managing MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) spare parts inventory, contracts and services with suppliers, monitoring and reporting departmental spending and accounting functions.

MRO Supervisor is a professional with a practical mind and attention to detail a must. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. This position, under the direction of the Maintenance & MRO Manager, is responsible for ensuring all departments have parts for maintaining their equipment and scheduled maintenance. MRO Supervisor will possess considerable skills, knowledge and experience related to working within a large, 24/7 manufacturing environment. Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Maintains inventory levels for MRO materials.

  • Utilizes OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) documentation, historical data, and technical support to source parts as required to support the plant.

  • Able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.

  • Complete Work Orders within our CMMS "e-Maint" system

  • Actively participates in Weekly Spend Call Review Meetings

  • Participate in annual budget planning & forecasting for all Repair & Maintenance Accounts

  • Actively review & communicate with Accounting, Engineering and Maintenance Teams regarding Capital Expenditures (AFE's) and weekly expenses.

  • Participates in the selection of new suppliers.

  • Coordinates activities within the local MRO group

  • Maintains accurate records of inventory and cost as required by a public company.

  • Maintains effective communication of inventory for special projects.

  • Maintains neatness of area outside of storeroom and related areas.

  • Trains and develop resources to support local MRO group.

  • Provides effective leadership, communication, and feedback to direct reports.

  • Assists with communications and scheduling of service providers to support plant operations.

  • Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.

  • Operate in a manner that provides value to the team.

  • Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.

  • Actively monitor, communicate, and work within our capital spending (AFE's) Finario Program

We believe the successful candidate will have:

  • Associates/BA/BS in Business Administration or related field or equivalent, preferred.

  • At least five (5) years of inventory management experience

  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, CMMS, and Outlook

  • At least three (3) years of JDE (J.D. Edwards) experience, preferred.

  • Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Effective and demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Effective interpersonal skills

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office, preferred). (Build and maintain budget spreadsheets)

  • Effectively communicate both verbally and written with internal associates and external suppliers.

  • Forklift and Aerial Lift experience is required with the ability to complete AZEK PIT Certification program.

  • Work schedule flexibility to accommodate needs of the business

  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Additional requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for AFE (Capital Expenditures) preparation.

Ensure compliance with company safety policies, shop rules, financial guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding AFE status and updates.

Core Competencies:

  • Knowledge of health & safety practices and OSHA regulations.

  • Oversee and enforce good record-keeping practices (be it pen and paper or CMMS software like e-Maint).

  • Work closely with vendors, outsourced service providers, and contractors to protect the interests of the facility.

  • Manage and maintain required materials and spare parts inventory.

  • Help with the development of maintenance procedures and proactive maintenance programs like preventative maintenance.

  • Recommend upgrades, overhauls, and other changes to major systems and equipment.

  • Actively participate in projects (e.g. installation, remodeling, or renovation).

  • Actively discuss staff-related challenges with senior management.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 in our lowest market up to $85,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
