What you will do
The Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering is a role reporting to the CI/ME Manager. You will function in a team environment with responsibilities as a manufacturing engineer and a leadership/ supervisor role with the other manufacturing engineers reporting to this role.
Assures that YORK Refrigeration products are designed in accordance with applicable safety codes, industry standards and Company standards.
Develops and maintains products in accordance with marketing requirements.
Reviews and takes necessary actions to:
Track and control product cost
Perform calculations and publish performance
Track and control warranty expense
Establish and meet schedules
Develop and maintain documentation including ISO requirements

This role will utilize your skills with coaching and training employees how to be successful at their jobs
Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering interacts with teams from sales, production and service encompassing the cross function at the facility.
Plans, schedules and directs technical and non-technical personnel.
Maintains involvement in projects and resolving problems.
Conducts inter-departmental design review meetings and maintain project documentation in accordance with ISO, York and Code requirements.
Develops and maintains activities, schedules, and assigns project priorities with the direction of management.
Informs company of departmental activity.
Develops and maintains product designs in accordance with marketing requirements and minimizes warranty costs associated with them.
Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
What we look for
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering from a four-year college or university and have a minimum of eight (8) years' project and people management experience.
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering requirement may be waved at the managers discretion if one of the following conditions are met:
Ten (10) years' demonstrated experience in responsible charge of engineering projects.
Should understand business principles of business unit.
Ability to travel 5%, including international.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required. ACAD suite system. SAP is a plus.
