Maintenance planning and record-keeping functions, airframe and engine maintenance


  • Review Maintenance Due Reports

  • Coordinates with Engineering required updates for Maintenance Due Reports

  • Assist in maintaining the status of all aircraft and on-wing engine maintenance requirements in the Trax system.

  • Reviews and Updates AIMS Checks hours and Total Times & Cycles

  • Generates scheduled maintenance check forecasts (A, C & D checks)

  • Schedules special visits for EO/AD/SB's as required

  • Preform long and short term forecast to reduce the out service time for A checks

  • Schedules and prepares work packages for aircraft and engine maintenance in accordance with the GMM and MIPS manuals.

  • Schedules Maintenance Continued Items (MCI) and Time Limited Work (TLW).

  • Coordinates material support requirements for routine and non-routine items.

  • Reviews completed work packages for accountability and sign-off requirements. Forwards reviewed packages to Manager of Aircraft Records.

  • Coordinates engine and APU forecasts, movements, spares allocation, and equipment shipping.

  • Coordinates with MCC on Short Term Items and required ground time.

  • Maintains historical records of aircraft operating hours and cycles.

  • Creates aircraft and engine utilization reports.

  • Updates Trax System for inspection and modification compliance.

  • Schedules and prepares work packages for aircraft and engine maintenance for CMI contracts

  • Updates CMI Contract Airlines's System for inspection and modification compliance

  • Assist in coordinating the scheduling, material requirements, and compliance of aircraft modifications.

  • Assist in the training of new Aircraft Planner(s)

  • Accomplishes additional tasks as directed by the Director of Maintenance Planning and/or Manager(s) of Maintenance Planning department.


  • Working knowledge of maintenance programs and maintenance program control.

  • FAA Airframe and Power plant License desirable.

  • 2 years experience in aircraft service planning

  • Knowledge of aircraft records requirements and procedures.

  • Working knowledge of Federal Air Regulations desirable.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills required.

  • Ability to work with all levels of management and contract vendors required.

  • Good computer skills required.

Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association (MSPBNA or Bank) is a nationally chartered bank regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. MSPBNA accepts deposit accounts that are principally used to fund lending (including residential mortgage, security based and tailored lending to high net worth individuals) and investing activities. The MSPBNA Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team reports to the Bank CFO and provides support to the Quarterly Stress Test process as well as for the ongoing analysis of the Bank's performance. FP&A is also responsible for working with PBG's Finance Division on providing the Multi-Year Plan, forecast updates, and the Recovery Plan for MSPBNA. Primary Responsibilities * Assist in the production & analysis of monthly financial reporting for MSPBNA including Product Profitability Reporting. * Prepare & coordinate the quarterly and multi-year forecasting and planning process including working on the Strategic Plan. * Utilize multiple data sources to create metrics reporting, including Balance and Revenue analysis, Expense analysis & Key Risk Indicators. * Expand & improve the quality of data in the Analytical Environment - a core Finance deliverable. Leverage this functionality to create new insightful tools and optimize existing reporting and controls. * Work with Finance Management on various ad hoc reporting/analysis including MSPBNA profitability, financial modeling, etc. * Assist with the review of the monthly close and in preparing for meetings with Regulators. * Work on remediation of Internal Audit or Regulatory Matters Requiring Attention (MRAs). * Assist with the Quarterly Stress Test process as well as meeting Firm CCAR deliverables. * Assist with preparation of materials for Board of Directors and Regulators.Skills desired: * Well organized, detailed, analytical individual with 4-6 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, analytical and financial modeling in Finance within Financial Services industry * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred * Bank and bank product knowledge and experience is preferred but not required * Strong aptitude for numbers and quick grasp of new reporting applications * Effective communication, interpersonal and partnership skills * Ability to handle multiple projects, competing priorities/deadlines with high degree of flexibility * Knowledge of Essbase application a plus Morgan Stanley Purchase NY
