JOB SUMMARY
As the Supervisor, Maintenance & Systems Administrator, you will coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the 1st shift GILLIG maintenance technicians and outside service contractors. You will exhibit the proficient utilization of the organizations CMMS and BMS to ensure the department and facility is operating at peak performance with a focus on predictive and proactive maintenance modes. You will ensure that the organization's safety policy, procedures, and process are always followed.
Supervises the GILLIG maintenance staff, related outside service contractors
Leads the maintenance team to successful completion of scheduled maintenance and inspection of equipment including but not limited to: HVAC, Industrial Filtration Systems, Compressors, Industrial Process Equipment, Overhead Cranes, Site Utilities (Water, Power, Waste, Gas, Compressed Air), Electric Motors (.25hp to 150hp+), Elevators, Instruments, Machine Controls (PLC and Analog) , Liquid and Powder Coating Paint Booth Enclosures/Systems, etc
Monitors maintenance technicians to ensure their work is being completed on schedule and to escalate issues to leadership when required
Proficiently utilizes the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to generate and edit assets, identify and develop scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance work orders, and review completed work orders for follow-up root cause/corrective actions.
Identifies, procures, and tracks the usage of equipment and facility spare parts inventory
Proficiently utilizes the BMS (Building Management System) to monitor and troubleshoot the facilities complex HVAC systems
Responds to and resolves problems and/or complaints raised by facility occupants in a systematic and professional manner with follow up correspondence
Ensures timely responses by internal maintenance personnel, outside contractors, and production operators for any needed work
Ensures GILLIG safety policy is implemented and followed by both GILLIG maintenance technicians and outside service contractors
Works according to established company policies and procedures, seeking guidance as needed
Proactively coordinates maintenance related activities with other respective departments to establish and maintain good working relationships
Performs other facility related duties, as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2-year technical degree in an engineering field, mechanical or electrical preferred. Relative work experience and education will be considered in lieu of a 2-year technical degree
5-years' experience in Operations & Maintenance Management of an industrial manufacturing facility
Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
Strong problem solving skills to identify root cause using Fish Bone, 5 Way, PDCA, and 8D
Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Experience using Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor facility mechanical systems
Effective using handwritten documents and electronic programs
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and carry for short distances up to 20ft.
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk and occasionally kneel or squat; may walk/stand for approximately 80% of working time
May climb ladders and be required to each above head
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
No limitation in the proper use of respiratory protection equipment
May be required to work on elevated equipment and platforms, above 20ft, to complete work
Ability to work in both conditioned and non-conditioned environments regarding PPE
Standard start time: 5:00 a.m.
Ability to work hours outside of the normal workday to complete tasks as necessary
EXPECTED COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $250,000/annual salary + bonus + premium benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
