Responsibilities

Profit Maximization:

Shared Duties

Profit Maximization:

  • Review results utilizing reporting including Scorecard

  • Adjust daily schedule based on business needs

  • Ensure adherence to Loss Prevention policies

  • Reduce risk and protect assets in compliance with the Operational Audit

  • Lead, coach, and participate in execution of special event playbooks

  • Maintain security of physical building, sensitive data, and IT equipment to policy

  • Ensure compliance to Injury Illness Prevention Program; recognize and resolve safety hazards

  • Execution of Physical Inventory Standard Operating Procedure

  • Complete point of sale opening and closing procedures

  • Approve point of sale returns, voids, and overrides

  • Take appropriate action during business interruptions and emergencies

  • Ensure Merchandise Management expectations are consistently met

  • Complete forklift certification and operate as needed

  • Completion of inventory adjustments

  • Complete and maintain callbacks and pullbacks

  • Process defects, destroy, special handling returns, managed waste, and open box in adherence to policies

Position-Specific Duties - Logistics

Experience:

  • One year experience in retail leadership preferred

Education:

  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational degree or High School graduate/Equivalent or 2 years Management or Functional Experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate with customers and associates in person and via e-mail and telephone.

  • Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds.

  • Requires standing and moving for an entire shift.

  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist.

  • Ability to safely climb up and down a ladder. Ability to become forklift certified and physically able to operate a forklift in accordance with IIPP.

Availability:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, overnights and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requires managerial skills and experience as well as an analytical focus; recognizing gaps and accurately addressing root cause mitigation and resolution. Specific emphasis on the logistical movement of raw materials as well as Shipping/Receiving operations. Ensures systems SAP and other SAS systems accurately reflect material status to sustain production in a foundry fabrication operation. Supply chain logistics analysis and lean Six Sigma processes are essential to this position. Analyzes processes, oversight and technical expertise for logistical operations and supply chain KPI tracking. Acts as a liaison between third party contracted warehouses including scheduling of deliveries, deliveries to SAS. Coordinates with numerous departments, third party vendors, and indirect contractors. Candidate must possess a proven track record of successfully developing logistics processes and functions in a fast-paced and growing environment. Role and Responsibilities * Excellent understanding of supply chain management principles and ability to apply statistical and qualitative methods to optimize inventory. Establishes metrics and KPIs to monitor success. * Creates and produces a series of reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis to meet department goals. * Performs causative research and documents discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and offer possible solutions. * Provides oversight of logistics operations; technical subject matter expert for SOPs. * Regularly monitors workflow and the execution of assigned logistical functions for SAS and SDS * Manages the Shipping and Receiving operation for SAS. * Benchmarks new logistics developments. * Identify areas of improvement for raw material logistics. * Acts in the place of the department manager when necessary. * Self-driven project management. * Develop methods to improve visibility of deliveries. * Identify and address various process gaps. * Exercise independent judgment when faced with ambiguity. * Oversees the deliveries of specialized shipments. * Oversees carrier/vendor's deliveries to offsite warehouses. * Coordinate and schedule raw material shipments to sustain target site levels and keep the Fab constantly supplied. Remain synchronized with end users' requirements. * Ensure the schedule remains updated in bulk tracker system after receiving supplier confirmation and communicate final delivery schedule to suppliers. * Monitor delivery to receipt with end user. * Ensure deliveries are added to security's scheduling system. Update and modify schedules as needed. Walk thru <24 hours scheduled deliveries through the security system.</li> * Monitor in-progress deliveries (on site) and act quickly to mitigate friction points (24/7 monitoring); includes directing terminal truck driver. * Put deliveries on hold or cancel based on end users' requirements (coordinate with Procurement). * Act quickly when disruption in raw materials flow (off site); liaison between Procurement and end user. * Develop projects to refine and make lean systems and processes for current raw material support operations. Execute projects to specified timelines. * Other responsibilities as needed. * Shift: 1st - Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.
