Your responsibilities thyssenkrupp Elevator is seeking a Supervisor

  • IT Vendor Management to join its Mendenhall, TN office.
  • Supervise a team of telecom billing analysts and accounts payable specialists

  • Ensure accurate and timely invoice payments

  • Assist in process review and contribute to process efficiency improvements

  • Analyze costs, pricing, and other factors of the company's payable accounts; assess conditions and adjust as needed to control and/or lower costs

  • Resolve and manage disputes with vendors

  • Log, track, and manage credit requests

  • Perform research on missing invoices

  • Interact with Corporate Accounts Payable and Accounting departments to expedite payments and resolve issues.

  • Perform monthly telecom accruals

  • Use excellent written and verbal communication skills to establish and cultivate relationships with new and existing vendors

  • Manage invoice billing to ensure bill rate vs. quoted or contract rate

  • Prepare and present analytical reports and interpret financial information; recommend appropriate course of action when needed

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy

  • Address customer billing-related questions; work with sales and/or operations to resolve concerns; assist with customer account reconciliations

  • Support audits and clean ups

  • Other duties as assigned

Your profile

  • 4 or more years of related experience in Accounts Payable/Finance/Accounting required

  • BSc/BA in accounting or similar field is preferred.

  • Supervisory experience required

  • Experience with IT and Telecommunications vendors preferred

  • Experience with Oracle is preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, charts, etc).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor activities, initially under supervision, to ensure accurate credit tracking and invoicing.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a large variety of internal customers and communicate effectively in a fast-paced and energetic environment.

  • Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills are required

  • Possess the ability to work with minimum supervision and resolve internal issues

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To analyze vendor management data for vocational rehabilitation services and identify opportunities for program improvement; monitor the quality of vendor service to ensure optimal service delivery, performance, and quality through audits and claim file reviews, training initiatives, and relationship management to ensure compliance and overall client satisfaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES * Analyzes vendor relationships, determining due diligence requirements and measuring risks. compliance and quality. * Performs quality audits to assess vendor partner performance and identify areas of opportunity. * Investigates process issues and opportunities to identify causes. * Recommends and leads training activities surrounding areas of opportunity and ensures that associated actions are effectively implemented. * Ensures vendors are evaluated and approved in accordance with regulatory and company polices. * Coordinates and attends medical provider tours of client locations to discuss the return to work process and opportunities available. * Coordinates the introduction of new vendor services to internal departments, including training and development of program materials. * Facilitates ongoing relationship building and maintenance between the vendor partners, client, and examiners. * Tracks vendor activities, including the development and analysis of internal and vendor produced information. * Monitors, analyzes, and maintains vendor information and documentation. * May interface with vendors to obtain proper documentation to support invoices.
