Job Summary

ZOLL's Headquarters Operations Team strives to support and help grow ZOLL's business by providing exceptional service through responsiveness and quality. ZOLL ships goods from three USA locations to 100+ countries. The International Logistics Supervisor is a key role in managing overall satisfaction of International Warehouses, Business Partners and End Customers.

This position is responsible for supervising a team that is accountable for all aspects of international logistics for ZOLL Medical. This role includes import/export shipments (with all pertinent documentation) and serves as an advisory role for ZOLL Medical.

Essential Functions

• Lead all aspects of outbound international logistics.

• Supervise the export documentation function to provide an accurate and timely document flow to our foreign customers, freight forwarders, brokers and government agencies.

• Analyze and optimize the selection of transportation mode and specific carrier based on cost, transit time, and customer need.

• Calculate freight quotes as needed.

• Letter of credit review and approval to customer service and credit.

• Supervise the tracing and expediting of all international shipments via all modes of transportation.

• Supervise the training, development, and performance of international transportation personnel.

• Investigate and resolve any shipping errors for international shipments.

• Coordinate daily pick up of all air freight shipments with preferred trucker.

• Liaison for international shipments from other ZOLL facilities as questions arise.

• Know and follow Export Compliance rules as dictated by law, regulation, and company policy.

• Work closely with ZOLL GTM to understand all Regulatory changes that impact international commerce.

• Coordinate the return of products for ZOLL Circulation Trials to appropriate warehouse.

• Coordinate the consolidation of goods from multiple warehouse shipping to

same customer.

• Coordinate pre-shipment inspections as needed.

• Participate in all QBR with our Freight Forwarder partners to understand performance to SLA and discuss any upcoming changes within the industry.

• Ensure the International Logistics team maintains all training and certification requirements.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in related field

• 4-6+ years experience in distribution and/or logistics

• Oracle experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of international commerce, international banking issues, sales and payment terms, customs regulations, and international supply chain processes.

• International Logistics experience, experience in both import and export transactions.

• Strong negotiating skills.

• Detailed oriented, strong organizational skills, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work with strict deadlines.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong follow up skills with a focus on results and quality of work.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

• Awareness and appreciation of different cultures.
