Job Summary: The Supervisor, Imaging Operations will assist the manager with staff scheduling, timekeeping, supply management, departmental audits, and new hire training. This role will encompass multi-modalities and will supervise the departmental activities to ensure compliance.

Minimum Education: Associate's degree, vocational or technical school degree and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and MRI or CT.

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years registered Radiologic Technologist and 1-year registered MRI or CT experience within a healthcare setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills suitable for technology-based information with a broad spectrum of individuals. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Produces staff scheduling and retains flexibility to adjust schedules as staffing needs evolve.

Directs the flow of procedures for different modalities at the imaging center. Manages timekeeping responsibilities for direct reports and oversees daily operational and personnel situations. Generates and reports on audits required by the department of radiology or the hospital.

Performs work as a technologist in multi-modalities, as needed. Develops and implements improvement strategies and growth goals that improve the patient and provider experience. Serves as a team facilitator for radiology procedures requiring a liaison among various medical specialties.

Decision Making: Independent judgement in planning sequence of operations and making minor decisions in a complex technical or professional field.

Working Relationships: Direct supervision of others.

Prepares and gives performance evaluations. Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction.

Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
