Summary:

Assigns and coordinates activities of workers engaged in assembling, testing and inspecting of assemblies and subassemblies

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes production schedule and assign jobs to line workers needed to meet delivery dates

  • Plans work assignments for group on basis of priority and worker skills

  • Assigns duties to workers and evaluate worker performance

  • Implements company policies and procedures

  • Examines product according to knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards to ensure acceptability

  • Reviews and compiles operations records, such as yield, scrap and maintenance costs

  • Reviews work orders, product specifications, technical instructions and facility requirements, requisition tools, equipment, and supplies for section

  • Enters and verify employees work time into system

  • Adapts easily to changing programs; flexible to do tasks assigned

Education:

  • 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management

Summary: The manufacturing Technician provides and supports manufacturing equipment, materials and processes to production to ensure products are assembled in an efficient manner, meeting customer quality and expectations and on-time delivery specifications. Responsibilities: * Creates and maintains machine programs and profiles for new and existing product * Aids in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators * Troubleshoots operator problems successfully, work with leadership on training and process improvements * Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leader * Assists in the testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes * Assists in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis * Recommends additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for the product debug areas * Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities * Complies and follows all company security policies and procedures. * Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. * Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
