About Las Palmas Medical Center
Las Palmas Medical Center offers comprehensive services and special expertise in Emergency Room Medicine (Level III Trauma), Cardiology, Women's Services, Labor & Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Neuroscience, Pediatric care, and Wound Care Management. Las Palmas Medical Center is also the only Kidney Transplant Center in the Region.
Las Palmas Rehabilitation Hospital is a separate facility with newly renovated patient rooms, exercise equipment and cafeteria. The physicians, nurses and staff at our 325-bed facility are committed to caring for our community with compassionate, quality healthcare.
To prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care provided throughout the hospital. To collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care. To assure that quality-nursing care is delivered during assigned shifts.
Assists in providing effective distribution and utilization of nursing personnel on a twenty four-hour basis.
Promotes positive customer service with external and internal departments.
Executes decisions in the absence of the Hospital Administrator.
Monitors and evaluates clinical practice standards within the Medical Center.
Understands all functional areas within the Medical Center.
Supervises and directs the provision of all aspects of patient care.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately)
Minimum college: Associate degree, diploma in Nursing or BSN required, MSN preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: (list required and preferred separate
Current RN licensure in Texas, BCLS provider
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately)
2-3 years Charge Nurse experience, management experience preferred.
