The Supervisor, Global IT Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing and directing a highly technical team. This is a senior technical role that also provides data and computational capacity that facilitates major business services for Callaway worldwide, including those which include external-facing and direct to the consumer. This position implements new cloud and on-premises technologies that minimize operations while managing a global enterprise environment that is highly available, agile and anti-fragile. A healthy environment must be maintained with appropriate access, security, availability, performance, capacity, and backups for productivity, efficiency, and business continuity.

COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Active Directory Architecture experience including tiering models and global replication.

• DevOps (Ansible, TerraForm, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Vagrant, GitHub, Sensu, Snort, Logstash)

• Private/on-premises cloud stack Azure/AWS(OpenStack, Nutanix, Docker, Hyperflex, VxRail)

• Server hardware includes (hyperconverged, Nutanix, Cisco UCS, Lenovo, Dell and similar systems

• Security (certificates, Cas, anti-malware, anti-ransomware, DDoS)

• Enterprise Identity Management (AD/LDAP, global/distributed sites, GPOs, OU design)

• VMware (vSphere CLI, vCenter, SRM, vCloud Director, vRealize)

• Development/Scripting (large-scale, from scratch, PowerShell)

• SAN/NAS (VMware vSAN, retention policies, data tiering, cold storage, remote site replication)

• Infrastructure services, such as DNS, SMTP, DHCP, NIS, LDAP, Active Directory, FTP and databases

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This position is, at its core, a technical position. A special expertise is required in server hardware, virtualization, operating systems, and the supporting infrastructure. Just as important, especially at higher levels, is the service ownership responsibility. As a service owner, this position leads others and needs to build and maintain standards and policies, often leveraging peers or external resources to support the environment at global scale.

• University degree (preferably in Computer Science)

• Minimum 5 years of Windows and virtualization systems

• Minimum 5 years of cloud computing experience

• Experience leading technical teams and project management
