Position Description: Supervises quality assurance activities within Gas Operations. Leads the data team charged to identify, track, and trend nonconformance issues related to field service gas standards, procedures, and policy work performed by gas service representatives in order to ensure timely, accurate, and complete asset and records data which is gathered, mapped, and stored in company systems of record.


  • Reports Quality findings to field service leadership.

  • Ensures accurate, consistent, and fair assessment practices.

  • Helps drive work quality improvement within the field service organization.

  • Oversees asset data Quality Review development, performance, and reporting.

  • Provides tactical leadership and supervision of data quality protocols and projects in accordance with company-identified risks and strategic goals.

  • Ensures all data verification work is conducted safely, efficiently and in accordance with company standards and procedures.



  • High School Degree or GED
  • 5 years of relative working experience

Leadership Presence: Ability to convey credibility, confidence and sense of authority. Conveys messages simply, concisely and at right pace and tone for audience. Remains calm, controlled and productive when confronted by opposition or work stress.

Functional Expertise: Ability to foster a learning environment and to develop employees to ensure backfills and successors. Has an understanding of PG&E's business to maximize results, limit risks and effectively lead group.

Technical Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Understanding of field service standards, work procedures, and policies.

  • Proficiency in Gas Operations facilities and pipelines.

  • Background in CAD and/or GIS.

  • Previous leadership experience as a technical lead or supervisor.

  • Quality auditing or Lean Six Sigma training.

  • Strong technical (computer) and project management skills.

  • Effective in communicating to individuals and group audiences.

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or equivalent years of experience * 3+ years of project management experience in a fast-paced IT environment, including direct experience working for a Global Organization and/or providing cross-cultural support. * Intermediate skills in general office systems, equipment and applications to support business needs (e.g., Excel ,Outlook, Microsoft Office, Project Management systems, Power Point, Visio). * Strong knowledge and experience with IT tools and technologies required by the department/unit as well as IT processes and methodologies including: * Documentation and validation of business requirements. * Structural analysis, data modeling, information engineering, mathematical model building, sampling, and resource planning. * Development of multi-tier business applications. * Management of full development lifecycles for software applications using tools such as MS Project, Visio, JIRA highly desired. * Knowledge of data management, business intelligence methodologies, and OLAP tools highly desired.
