Matheson Flight Extenders specializes in terminal handling and ground support services for the United States Postal Service (USPS) and other commercial carriers.

Today we serve 16 cities across the United States.The THS Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities assigned to Matheson Flight Extenders.

The THS Supervisor is responsible for providing premiere services to internal and external customers.

Principal Accountabilities:

Operations Management/Customer Service

  • Analyze expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, or budgets for increasing profits or improving services.

  • Implement schedule and policy changes.

  • Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, contracts, and government regulations.

  • Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets.

  • Plan, organize, or manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.

  • Responsible for enforcing operational and safety policies and procedures

  • Complete all reports as required by management

  • Fills in for Station Manager during the managers absence

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce company safety policies and procedures

  • Hold weekly safety meetings

  • Manage any injury / accident events in conjunction with Risk Management

  • Complete all required safety reports and investigations as required

  • Provide light duty assignments when necessary

  • Address employee voiced safety issues or concerns

  • Resolve any safety hazards within the station / operation

  • Maintain facility and personnel security in accordance with Matheson, Customer and Airport Authority requirements.

Leadership and Fiscal Management

Schedule: 10 pm to 6 am shift On call 24/7 for all issues relative to conducting business at the station.

  • Establish employee schedules and work hours

  • Review employee time sheets through PeopleSoft

  • Manage hours to eliminate overtime

  • Correct punch errors by employees

Equipment Management:

  • Insures pre-trip vehicle inspections are completed as required

  • Reports any vehicle or equipment failures to management

  • Monitors preventative maintenance schedules

  • Sets up the operations floor by operation type

  • Conducts pre-work operations briefings

  • Inspects and inventories station scanners for operations


  • Counsels, disciplines and coaches employees as required

  • Conducts employee training

  • Establishes and maintains employee work schedules to ensure adequate staffing. This may include monitoring attendance, tracking shifts, correcting payroll errors and making adjustments as needed

We're currently sourcing for a Specialty Pharmacy Sales Manager to support our Sharon Hill, PA Specialty Pharmacy Operations (Acro Pharmaceutical Services). The Specialty Pharmacy Sales Manager performs and manages sales, field sales team and marketing activities on a national level. Oversee product/service development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals. Ensure the accuracy of communication material. Monitor communication to prevent misrepresentation of products and services to the consumer and client. Comply with all federal/state regulations regarding the marketing of health care services as applicable to pharmacy services. Major accountabilities: 60% - Sales management * Manages Acro's specialty pharmacy sales and marketing efforts for successful pull through campaigns * Oversee specialty pharmacy sales team and their responsibilities. * Plan and direct training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs. Develops and manages strategic initiatives to increase specialty revenues, and Acro brand awareness with providers and pharmaceutical partners * Acts, develops and implements performance goals in accordance with strategic plan, both personally and through assigned sales staff. * Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects * Reviews market analysis to determine referral sources and trends in referral sources * Keep management apprised of all progress as well as any issues with customers, and make thoughtful recommendations for resolving any issues * Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers within client organizations * Monitors and evaluates the activities of the market competition. * Participate in the development of new project proposals * Manage and provide assistance in managing or maintaining accounts of strategic clients 30% - Market Analysis and Brand Awareness * Represents company at trade association meetings to promote program * Prepare and make report on market analysis, competitor analysis and market trends * Prepare and deliver presentations that explain services to customers and prospective customers * Coordinate with area pharmaceutical representatives to develop and pull through growth strategies * Ensure that clients know to use the services and provide assistance if necessary * Building and maintaining of relationships with providers, payers, pharmaceutical manufacturers and other industry clients * Confer with customers to assess needs and to determine requirements * Assist marketing team and collaborate with sales leadership in the creation and updating of company sales and marketing material as it relates to Acro and Specialty Pharmacy. Receiving approval from Compliance/Legal. Distribution to customers 10% - Administrative * Ensure the accuracy of communication and prevent misrepresentation of products and services by: * Ensuring that all new communication material will be appropriately signed off by the designated personnel prior to dissemination. (ref: "Review and Approval" flowsheet) * Monitoring existing materials for accuracy * Providing initial training to sales personnel on corporate products and services * Monitoring ongoing communication of sales personnel through such mechanisms as monthly manager ride-alongs * Providing timely and complete correction notices to consumers and clients if material misrepresentations are found. * Comply with URAC guidelines regarding the marketing of Acro's URAC accreditation * Performs training and performance evaluations to maximize sales program Requirements and preferences: * Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, healthcare, marketing or related field is required * 4 + years of related sales and sales management experience or equivalent of combined education and experience is required * Experience in pharmacy sales (Specialty, Distribution, Device, Wholesale, etc) is preferred * Experience designing and implementing formal training programs is preferred * Must be willing to travel 25-50% (locally and nationally) * Candidates in the Sharon Hill/Philadelphia, PA are preferred About Acro Pharmaceutical Services (a Premier, Inc Company): Premier's specialty pharmacy team is partnering with physicians, hospitals and healthcare systems nationwide to provide life-saving treatment for patients with complex chronic conditions.
