As the Supervisor of Financial Reporting, you will mentor and develop skillsets, ensure accuracy of work performed by accountants, and provide expert knowledge in financial reporting that contributes to bottom line results. As the Supervisor of Financial Reporting, you can expect to: Analyze and review monthly trial balance and draft financial statements for completeness and accuracy. Develop monthly management reports, including revenue and expense analysis, key financial indicators, and team performance metrics.

Perform detailed and complex analysis of the company's operating position using advanced accounting skills and communicating findings to management. Develop and present ad-hoc analyses, reports, and/or presentations to management. Review journal entries and annual reports for reasonableness and accuracy at regular intervals before finalizing.

Research authoritative regulations, interpret, document, and present conclusions and recommendations to management. Provide operational support to department by identifying process and customer service improvement opportunities and recommending solutions. Recruit, retain, coach, and mentor staff.

Contribute to the development and implementation of division goals and objectives, policies, standards, procedures, and budgets.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.

At least five years of progressive accounting experience Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential job functions. Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA Supervisory experience. Position Overview: The Financial Reporting Lead is a member of the Finance team and reports to the Controller. This role's primary responsibility is to assist the Controller with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, with a focus on Inventory. Responsibilities: Inventory * Support inventory reconciliation between Retail POS and Financial ERP * Prepare COGS allocation reconciliation and journal entries * Support cycle count variance reporting and reconciliation with cross-functional teams * Assist with year-end physical inventory coordination and reporting * Process inventory supplier purchase orders and supplier invoices including 3-way matching process for supplier invoice, POs and receipt * Prepare weekly wire payments to suppliers and coordinate payment with AP team Financial Reporting * Support all inventory and COGS monthly, quarterly, and annual month-end close activities * Maintain fixed asset and prepaid schedules * Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in accordance with GAAP * Prepare and distribute monthly operational reporting for internal use by cross-functional business units * Ensure appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained * Participate in the annual audit and related annual financial reports * Monitor accounting and reporting regulatory changes; research emerging literature that will affect the Company's accounting, financial statements, and disclosures * Provide ad hoc analysis, reporting and specific projects as needed Our Ideal Candidate will have: * 4 Year College degree required: B.S.
