Job Responsibilities:

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the daily management of the overall operation and successful performance of the designated Everi Financial Center(s), inclusive of processing check cashing, card, and Western Union transactions, scheduling, training, achievement of departmental budget and performance goals, and assistance with transaction volume as needed.

  • Hold self and direct reports accountable for adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures and overall job performance, including anti-money laundering and gaming law compliance, and service goals.

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the hiring and motivation of Everi Financial Center employees, including overseeing the training of all employees, acting as mentor to senior cashiers tasked with this duty to ensure thoroughness and accuracy during training period and developing candidates for advancement within the department.

  • Customarily and regularly direct the work of Financial Center employees, including reviewing their job performance through audits of transactions, delivery of positive/corrective coaching records/recognition, monthly staff performance meetings, and annual appraisals of employees' productivity and efficiency.

  • Act as an Everi representative to casino management, employees, and patrons. Responsible for overall customer service levels and casino management satisfaction.

  • Ensure budget maintenance, with a goal of minimizing expenses and controlling cash variances.

  • Oversee the balancing and control of the assigned funds distributed to cashiers and seniors. Ensure that funds in safe are physically counted and verified at least once daily.

  • Ensure compliance with Title 31, training and supervision, and licensing as needed.

  • Compile reports, verify employee time records, and prepare payroll.

  • Ensure that bank deposits are completed on a daily basis, adhering to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Booth Operations Policies and Procedures manual.

  • Contribute to the growth of the department by asking questions, offering constructive feedback and suggesting process improvements; taking the initiative to continually improve department productivity and efficiency.

  • Perform other related duties or functions as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Some college strongly preferred.

  • 2-3 years of large volume cash handling ($10,000+) experience in a casino, banking, or retail environment.

  • Demonstrated success in a prior supervisory or leadership position.

  • Must be familiar with and be able to successfully communicate details related to all Everi products and services.

  • Must be knowledgeable of the product mix for all Everi-contracted casino customers.

  • Experience balancing and controlling assigned funds.

  • Working knowledge of Title 31 requirements.

  • Experience using personal computers and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.

  • Ability to use a 10-key.

  • Full-time / 40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work additional hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary or appropriate. Must be able to be on call and respond to requests during non-working hours.

The Service Technician is responsible for providing timely and friendly service to all locations, while minor repairs/malfunctions of all video gaming terminal equipment across their assigned route. Your daily responsibilities include * Travels to VGT locations exchanging cash boxes, replenishing ticket paper, and servicing bill validators and ticket printers. * Responsible for performing minor resets of video gaming terminals. * Responsible for replenishing and servicing ticket redemption units and performing all duties as required for the route cash collection process. * This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to clients and employees and upholding company standards of customer service. * Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs. * Understands and adheres to all company standards, policies, and procedures. * Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame. * Projects a positive image of the company at all times. * Handles minor repairs and assists with equipment malfunctions. * Assists Route Operations Manager. * Processes manual payouts due to equipment malfunctions or other circumstances as deemed necessary. * Completes required paperwork in a timely manner. * Informs Route Operations Manager of video gaming terminal issues. * Provides outstanding employee and customer relations. * Assists customers with questions and complaints regarding video gaming terminals. Provides answers and explanations and rectifies problems as appropriate. * Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies. * Keeps work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter. * Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner. * All other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned. To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set * Cash handling experience preferred. * Experience within gaming industry is a plus. * PC proficiency. * Previous customer service experience is required. * Ability to travel extensively as necessary for business needs. * Ability to collaborate and work within a team-oriented environment. * Ability to accurately prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks. * Ability to work nights, weekends, on call, and holidays as required. * Wiring, network, and troubleshooting experience is a plus.
