Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the daily management of the overall operation and successful performance of the designated Everi Financial Center(s), inclusive of processing check cashing, card, and Western Union transactions, scheduling, training, achievement of departmental budget and performance goals, and assistance with transaction volume as needed.
Hold self and direct reports accountable for adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures and overall job performance, including anti-money laundering and gaming law compliance, and service goals.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the hiring and motivation of Everi Financial Center employees, including overseeing the training of all employees, acting as mentor to senior cashiers tasked with this duty to ensure thoroughness and accuracy during training period and developing candidates for advancement within the department.
Customarily and regularly direct the work of Financial Center employees, including reviewing their job performance through audits of transactions, delivery of positive/corrective coaching records/recognition, monthly staff performance meetings, and annual appraisals of employees' productivity and efficiency.
Act as an Everi representative to casino management, employees, and patrons. Responsible for overall customer service levels and casino management satisfaction.
Ensure budget maintenance, with a goal of minimizing expenses and controlling cash variances.
Oversee the balancing and control of the assigned funds distributed to cashiers and seniors. Ensure that funds in safe are physically counted and verified at least once daily.
Ensure compliance with Title 31, training and supervision, and licensing as needed.
Compile reports, verify employee time records, and prepare payroll.
Ensure that bank deposits are completed on a daily basis, adhering to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Booth Operations Policies and Procedures manual.
Contribute to the growth of the department by asking questions, offering constructive feedback and suggesting process improvements; taking the initiative to continually improve department productivity and efficiency.
Perform other related duties or functions as assigned by management.
High school diploma or GED required. Some college strongly preferred.
2-3 years of large volume cash handling ($10,000+) experience in a casino, banking, or retail environment.
Demonstrated success in a prior supervisory or leadership position.
Must be familiar with and be able to successfully communicate details related to all Everi products and services.
Must be knowledgeable of the product mix for all Everi-contracted casino customers.
Experience balancing and controlling assigned funds.
Working knowledge of Title 31 requirements.
Experience using personal computers and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
Ability to use a 10-key.
Full-time / 40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work additional hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary or appropriate. Must be able to be on call and respond to requests during non-working hours.
