Supervisor - Facilities Usage (Rental/Management)

SELECTION PROCEDURE: This is an OPEN recruitment to establish an eligibility list and fill a vacancy. An eligibility list will be created from this recruitment and will be used to fill permanent vacancies which may occur during the life of the eligibility list.

This position is full-time, 12 months per year. The hours for this position are 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM and may include weekend and variable hours. The recruitment process will consist of an evaluation of the submitted supplemental form and an oral technical interview, which are tentatively scheduled during the week of July 10-19, 2024 . (Click here for more information on the recruitment process) (Download PDF reader) BASIC FUNCTION Under the direction of the Chief Business Officer or assigned supervisor, perform a variety of technical duties related to the management and use of District facilities; serve as a liaison and coordinate communication, correspondence and information; supervise the scheduling, assignment, rental and use of school facilities in response to both internal and external requests. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Any combination equivalent: graduation from high school and four years of experience in facilities management, including one year in a supervisory or lead role; work experience in a public school district is highly desirable.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Valid California driver's license. Employees in this classification must maintain insurability at the District's standard rate during the term of employment.
