Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance and upkeep of Hazelden Naples. Maintain HVAC and associated controls, welding, main heating and cooling. Provide patients, visitors, patient family members, vendors and staff a safe and secure environment.

  • Function as the facility's safety officer

  • Manage the automated work order/preventative maintenance functions using MyWorkspace (FM:Interact)

  • Ensure that high standards of safety are developed, met and maintained at Hazelden Florida meeting JCAHO standards and guidelines.

  • Ensure that facility and grounds are maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, agency standards and fiscal considerations using the electronic MyWorkSpace maintenance program.

  • Ensure that major equipment and furnishings are maintained in a safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement using the electronic MyWorkSpace/PM system.

  • Maintains and Develops operating budget

  • Arrange for or provide training for staff and clients as it relates to safety and maintenance topics.

  • Maintain files for regulatory agencies; ensure files are current and updated.

  • Develop professional relationships with all vendors, to ensure all provided services are economically and professionally completed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent

  • Experience with building systems maintenance (5 yrs) emphasis on HVAC

  • Current driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational or technical training (*HVAC) Certification or Associates Degree

  • Bachelor's degree
